Threshold

by Poet on the Piano   Jul 26, 2012

It is a new day
when there are no
more boulevards
of analogies
you can dwell or
abide in.

Genesis egresses
each time you
leave the bed
containing courses,
elapses, scythes
you no longer
agonize over
valuing.

For today,
whatever sun
is abreast you,
you will rise
unto revelation...

When your heart
reopens, and love,
it will soon,
believe me,
discouragements
will be just fantasies
painted into a color
you can't put out
as one would change
flowers to be
fresh.

Day is resolute
on knowing you;
it is unfolding
a landscape, or perhaps
a faith beginning
where you are not
said to be nightly,

but renewed.
