Before Dawn

by Maple Tree   Nov 27, 2012

Draped in shadows
he wept for the days
of nothing,
emptiness
clothed his
authentic
kisses to
the women
who never
knew he
existed-

She didn't know
the world was full
of eyes such as his,
iris's of a dew capped
summer,
slouched in
spun webbed
attic's,
where she was
also draped in shadows,
weeping for the days
of nothing to become
something.

Mirrors become
their only sense
of connection-

Butter glazed fingertips
feverishly flipping
newspapers, over coffee
and cream,
searching for
a chance to find
the other half
of their morning
routine....

    *Sigh* ...

That was kinda hard for me to read, loving someone who never realise you ever existed! Your words were perfectly chosen to give the reader that intense deeling of how the story goes.

Loved it, more than you can ever imagine.

Brrrilllliianttt!!! This piece made me read it again and again and I felt still want to read once more. The last line ended with some dots which means this piece wishes to be not ending, haha.

Andrea, I love this, the essence of a relationship, a firm and strong one is evident but there is a sadness and I have thought that maybe this is talking about Alzhemers and how the couple are coping with it, but I also am leaning towards the passing of one
but then on reading it again, I am wondering whether these people have ever met...

I am a little unsure, maybe it's me, I'll ponder on it and may come back
    :)
