You provide the lined paper and I am the pen,
anything and everything we could ever want to be.
We are two kids on a see-saw, one without the other
could not have a good time.
We listen to Eminem as if we are legit hipsters,
pulling on our silver hoodies and making the moon
come out and dance with us.

Nothing can stop us now.

We are word demons, rhyming prodigies,
music fanatics, our taste is just too good to be true.
if it wasn't for you I would be a lonely soul without
any chance to do a speed round with and
without any hopes that I could ever be inspired.

    Ahhhhhhh.

    I just decided to click on "fave poems" and was reminded of this again, when it popped up in there. Reading it, again, makes me tear up (in a good way!)

    I'm going to write one to you, without being rushed by Colm's demands haha!

    FINALLY. Finally I have time to comment on this!

    First, let me say thank you so much!
    You'll never know how much this means to me, and of course it's in my favourites!

    My favourite part? Of course you know..the Eminem reference! In fact, I found it funny you mentioned him here whilst I chose to write about his movie 8 mile for one of the other prompts.

    And I agree with the last part too, I don't think it would have been half as much fun if we weren't speed rounding together! Of course, Colm still deserves a slap for the pressure he put us under..*giggles (Kidding, Colm..maybe ;) )

    This poem truly touches me and I will remember it always. I love you!
