The Work for Tomorrow

by Poet on the Piano   May 25, 2013

We don't count the time with chronometers,
laying idle in our closets or underneath our beds,
we take small glances at each other
as anxiety makes our hair stand up straight,
and we hope everything will cooperate.

Please don't fear that we won't make it that far...

I'll show you I can work for a brighter tomorrow,
that is filled with an eagle's eye of patience
and a lifetime of giving all I am made for.

    How uplifting is this?!
    Oh I love this MA!

That tone of hope...that you strive to make tomorrow better, that each day is a new one, to pave with a smile...

    This is beautiful...
