Tell Me Why

by CathyButterflyJC   Jun 13, 2013

Why so many tears on my face,
Why so much hate in my tone
Why so much breaking in my heart

I know I shouldn't let it bother me
When you don't say you love me back
Or don't have any time for me
But it cuts deep
Because it lets me see
It's not that important to you
You and me
Together
At least not like it used to be

And I know I should hold the tears inside
But now that's all I do
Fight them
Pretend they're not there
As they pour down my face
And the sops escape my lips
I see you lift again
And nothing can hold me together

I was already bleeding
From you not saying you loved me too
I tried again
But still no three words

Tell me why you don't say them anymore
How come you don't make time to talk
How come I'm last on your list

Tell me why
You never tell me you love me
Or say you care
Is it because you don't
Please tell me why

Do you still love me?
You don't say it
You don't' show it
You don't reply to it
You don't say you love me to
You never say it first anymore
You don't make time for me
Or tell me when you have to leave
And so on
What am I to say
Other the why
And do you still care?
And so more

I love it....very emotional and I think if you love a person you should tell them I love you often. People do like to hear those words especially from a loved one.

This is really deep , you might want to add a bit of punctuation, love and infatuation are two different things and I believe it's over used all over the world.

To sit down a talk through it is the only
    Option , good piece

Hmm a lot of emotion in this. Definitely a lot.

There are a few spelling errors in this poem so I would go back and look into it.

Don't you think it is a little early to say those words? I mean, I don't doubt that you feel it but yeah.

And you have to consider the person and the words. Maybe he has been through a lot and those words scare him more than anything else. If you keep assuming that he doesn't care for you then it is only going to ruin what you have or start an argument.

    Relax.

Thank you I know you are right, i just feel lost because he used to say them all the time while I was the one afraid of the words, then all of a sudden he stops and pretty much stops talking to me too but thank you for the comment that helps a lot
