Voyages

Discovering new lands,
discovering cures for diseases,
discovering billions of other galaxies
scattered throughout our universe:
these have been some of mankind's greatest achievements;
Self-discovery, however,
has always been our most underutilized,
although greatest-
and it's that which troubles me deeply.

    I love this quote/poem! So true...I feel weird, because I can usually say more, but this poem says so much for itself...its true, nothing anyone says can take away from this piece.....and truthfully we all should be troubled by this...but until people put that into action, nothing gets done about it, we get nowhere.

    I think its cool, we spend money on these 'major things', but sometimes the discoveries dont serve a purpose and its more for media attention than it is beneificial....I'd like to see some testimonies of people who discovered themselves and who they wanna be or what they want to do..

    Interesting write!

    I am glad this was submitted as a poem, I understand it looks like a note but they way you have laid it out works. It is deep in thought and brings the reader into that thought too. xx
