Feathers (Collaboration)

I am in awe
of the translation of your eyes
from forgotten languages
Like a feather on the zephyr
of your whisper
in my ear

Angelic wafting sang
amidst the chaos of time
I was but a sparrow
wounded upon a battlefield
of pure existence

Like the incision that your fingers
softly leaves on my skin
To dim me
yet bulging me on the other side
of the mirrors
in
my matching wings

Reflection of embers blaze
as our ashy hearts smolder
upon a canvas, painted from
the soul of a brushless memory
breathlessly flying alone

Alone where your fingers
flower on my senses
One the rosy cheek of my feelings
Breathing to your ear:
could you see your beauty
in blooms of my lust
for you

Fragrant petals fall
amidst the window
of a spirited smile
such as a feather
taking flight.

    I loved the second and third stanza in this. For some reason, it just stands out to me more than anything. It's a tender poem, something that I can picture being read in a soft voice to match the mood you've set for it. I loved it :)

    This is the best poem I have read lately! I am in awe, and in love with the tenderness of it. The opening captured me instantly, and the way it was written just kept me going and going not wanting to stop or for it to finish. This is beyond what talent can create, and you both did a wonderful job constructing it.

    Keep it up, both your talents complement each other epically :)
