I fell in love with the way
her dimple hugged her cheek
as she smiled
It was then, in that moment
she had my heart
in the palms of her petite hands
I thought I knew love
while you were nestled
in my dreams
for what seemed like eternity
But I severely underestimated
what time had in store
People often contemplate
if there's such a happening
as falling in love
...more than once
Honestly, the rhythm in my chest
screamed yes
Once upon a dream I fell
and after reality allowed me
to finally embrace my tiny angel
and our eyes locked in a way
that can only be described
simply, as love
...I fell again
