Twisted

by Courtney Hough   Sep 26, 2016

May the darkness entangle me,
Because if this is light, then I don't want to be.
Twisted we have become, and straight has become wrong.
I'm different then you, so therefore, I'm naturally the problem.
We have become so blind! Being controlled by paper and numbers!
We think highly of ourselves and less of everything else.
We murder for "sport" saying it's okay if it's not our species.
Population control right? Isn't there to many of us?
Who made those lines? A God you follow? Is he money? Power? Greed? Hunger?
My god is mercy...and I'm called a fool.
But when yours turns its back on you...my God is who you cling too.
This "enlightened" time we abide in is so dark.
But I forgot you are all right and the few are wrong.
So bid me farewell...As I release my soul from purgatory...I feel I've served my time.
Just remember my story.
