Sleeping beasties (acrostic)

Shhh, tread lightly...
Lest you are particularly
eager to have those memories
escape from the vast wasteland you have
placed them ever so carefully
in. Opening up that can of worms can come to
no good!
Go on now, walk away from this space in your mind...
-
But you counter, what's the harm?
Easing these memories out
at least will give you a chance to air out your thoughts,
straighten out in your head,
those awful things that have happened to you.
I just know you really should wake this beast!
Except I can't, I won't! You can't make me...
Sleeping beasties are best left alone.

    This is amazing...and mysterious! I love the way you began. The dark thoughts, moments...memories that we all come across are some things that cannot really be erased...and sometimes letting them out...can be relieving and destructive as well...
