Empty feelings (palidrome-line by line)

by Brenda   Nov 7, 2016

Afraid of waking sleeping dogs...
I tiptoe around this house,
It is way too quiet
since you walked out,
dark despair engulfs my life,
I feel so empty...

Excellent writing. You had a way of really leaving the reader heavy with feeling and sympathy as well. 3:

Brenda, this is a very thought provoking, sad yet wonderfully written piece that could be taken more ways than one if I am honest but I guess thats what great poetry it about. I haven't really seen many of these written especially on here but I guess as Ben said they take a lot of hard work and perseverance to do them as well as you did, I know I couldn't master one thats for sure.

As they say sleeping dogs are best left alone.
    Great work, Em

    Brenda,

A very clever little write. I first saw Naughtymouse (Ben) writing one of these and I really do respect the thought that must go into them.

    Excellent work.

    Take care.

Thank you Ben, it was Naughty Mouses beautiful love poems that got me thinking about this style. It's a thought process for sure.
