Oyasha you are burning

by Dancing Rivers   Mar 21, 2017

Oyasha ( You are burning )

You my angel- sleeping sweetly in my arms-
are burning as bright as the autumn sun
that hovers over the statuesque trees
in all their green splendour.

Your small fist curled tightly
around one single finger-
as if for security-
seems too small for any living being.

I find myself in awe as I gaze upon you
during our bonding time
as you gorge yourself on milk
and suddenly faint from sheer gluttony.

My sweet girl, I cannot say to you
what inspirations you have evoked
in this tired out soul of mine-
long since drained of lovely words.

but with one beady-eyed glance
you stir a bubbling brook of mirth
within my tired face
and quench my age-old longing-

For something beautiful
something bright and sweet,
which was gifted to me.
Ayasha my child

Stay eternally burning
with angelic beauty in your eyes.

    Hazel,

I have nothing to say other than how lovely this is.

    All the best as ever,
    Ben
