Have you seen her?

by Fredy RoMa0u Sanchez   Mar 29, 2017

I drive through a busy street....
Emptiness within me and at the passenger seat...
I thought I was tough enough for when memories hit....
And I'm reminded the price i paid was too steep....

Its been so long since i was able to sleep...
Without seeing your face in my dreams
Without having the need to get up and scream....
Without seeing the light growing dim

Without you i seem....
Lost, dazed and confused
Someone that has no excuse
I willingly tied up my noose
And that lost me my muse....

I never knew how easily the heart can bruise....
Since you've been gone
I barely pick up the phone...
Darkness all around where lights once shone

Who'd have thought the soul is injury prone....
And if you see me one day....
And you cant hear what i say
Just know
I'm asking everyone in despair
"Excuse me, have you seen her?

Wasn't gonna log in tonight as I needed a little brain switched off time.

Glad I did though as I may have missed this otherwise.

I don't critique people's work as to do so is not me.

    However!

This made me think so much about myself, and for this I thank you

Loved how you expressed your feelings and the ending is superb.....

A small typo ..... Just check the spelling of emptiness in the second line.

I'm asking everyone in my way:
"Excuse me, have you seen J?

    ^^

I love this piece and you have ended it in a suitably dramatic way. Well done indeed,

Thank you! I thought maybe the title would take away from the ending.... I'm glad you liked it
