A Trip... Down Chemical Lane

by Michael   Mar 30, 2017

I am an element of….

A Tribal descent upon a secluded glade
An abstract Eden, in natures realm.
A secret garden from life’s sedate- staid

Sunset sheds it solar skin, takes a graceful bow.
Dusk gently cracks a chrysalis sky
An Oberon moon, gapes with its
watchful eye.
My Mischievous-lunar-activities
feel nigh
A kaleidoscope of stars twinkle and
glimmer.
A florescent- lunar shimmer
spans the skies.
An luminesce vision
Of Ecstasy through my
Dilated eyes!

This pleasure dome swathing
in shadowy trees,
I feel a caressing
swirling breeze
enhancing senses
throughout my contorted soul,
an edgy peripheral

A Vinyl maestro dispels a melodic beat.
Chemistry infuses my mind which
ignites my stomping feet!
A profanity of rhapsodic sound
I am steeped-in rapturous euphoria.
Provocative vibes bless my ear
The rhythm...blissfully crystal clear

A sensual arousal with a seductive rush
I feel so erotic and lush
Unconscious flourishes my conscious mind,
(with a chemical twist)
Hedonism has blown from acid lips
Its psychedelic kiss
Woooo...Hoooo

The rest are historic memories of an era spent
But nice to share my experienced
Vent

I'm going to have to stretch my imagination to every corner of my brain to digest this because...being the boring wee biscuit that I am I've never taken anything but...I can wing it now and wonder...should I have?

Your description is very artistic and not violent in anyway which is what I see with drug related incidents that are in the new these days...reminded me of the Lindisfarne song Lady Eleanor.

      Thank you Hellon

This write is reminiscent of early-mid 90's. For me it was about like minded people, who came together for an alternative social release. To add that, while this is not a advert for taking recreational drugs, but one of a personal choice of which I can say I hold no regrets. It was also about feeling a sense of safety within an environment, while exploring mind altering states and dancing among natures finest areas. In my times of experience, I never witnessed violence or anything relating to that subject. But all said, we really do need not anything to enjoy life to the full. This was an era I experienced how it was for me.
