THE GREEN SCARF

THE GREEN SCARF

It was on that Saint Pat’s Day when we met but it wasn’t the Scarf that drew me to you that night. It was those green Irish eyes, how they sparkled in the Ballrooms revolving light.

I had dressed as an Elf with my Robin Hood style tights that made me aware of my skinny legs, no wonder from many I received a big stare. You to my pleasure didn’t care but still I was glad I had on my super underwear, there was nothing else I wished to share.
For a loss of words, I mumbled to you; I love your green scarf and all the rest of you isn’t bad too. I wondered if her red hair was a sign of beware but she slid her chair very close to mine, she whispered softly in my ear; I never dated an Elf before, will you give this dish a wish or grant this chick a trick?

Wow, my blood began to boil, my legs yearned to dance with her and didn’t need any oil! We waltzed the night away and of course temptation was dancing to its own sway and did say, how about a roll in the hay?

I squeezed her tight, my body felt like it was on fire, I was filled with uncontrollable desire, no longer was my heart stuck in the mire. Now we sit together near the flickering log fire, she laughed and said; it’s been many years that we have shared together and it gets better and better, do you remember when by candle light we kissed, can you kindle up that flame again? I replied with a tear in my eye, you bet my pet, just then the burning logs shot out a spark or two, they were crackling for me and you.

Ken, this has all your usual humour in it which at times had me in stitches, but what radiates from it most is love.

    A wonderful write, my friend.
