Since You Asked

Funny, isn’t it?
The questions I long to answer
Are not the questions you ask of me.
Rather,
You ask about the things which are obvious
Asking only for me to say
That you asked me, at least.

But since you asked
Can I also ask you a question?
One simple thing I need to know.
Do you really believe in your questions?
