The River

When you gaze beyond....

where sunsets dance with stardust,
moonbeams tangle within whispers
from a broken heart;
It is then you will begin to feel peace.

My fingers have written of sorrow;
It is time for these eyes to rest.

Moss covered riverbeds, adorned with fallen leaves....

I ache to go home, never to return.
