The Colour Of Magic (in memory of Terry Prattchet #6

by CJ Maleney   Jul 8, 2017

Magic has a colour!
It is not a shade that you can't see,
For you are just a normal,
Not a wizard, witch or fairy.

But you must know that it exists.
When you watch a flower bloom,
When a child picks up an instrument
And plays a perfect tune.

Some don't belive in magic,
Just illusion or sneaky tricks?
But put your hand upon your chest
Then ask why we exist.

One tiny little globe,
With many others floating all around,
One tiny thing that gifts us life.
So much beauty all around?

Deny that there's magic!
If this is what you believe is true,
Or open your eyes a little wider
There's a different shade of blue.

A different shade of every colour,
And a different way to think.
That is the colour of things my dears
And It's the world of pure magic.
