stress (weekly prompt poem)

by CJ Maleney   Aug 15, 2017

Stress (acrostic)

Silently brooding and foreboding
Turbulent thoughts tumbling over and over
Rivers of self loathing and doubt flowing
Everything called to question and doubt
Searching for a way to float in this flood
Secure in the knowledge you are doomed to drown

Isn't it funny how we can all seem to write so openly and honestly about stress - well played Craig

I guess it's the one thing that we can all share.

It will affect us all at some point in our lives. It could be that moment before exams, a relationship, buying a house, definitely moving house. There are just so many causes. Everyone will have to deal with it at some point.

We can write about it openly here for we will never have to sit opposite each other and say "you know what mate I'm climbing the f@(€!ng walls at the moment".

It's how we deal with it that is the measure of you all.

      Crikey, thanks dude.

Was a popular prompt this week and a good few jumped on in with some ace stuff.
