Isn't that what they say?
I guess they're all just practice runs
Till 'the one' comes your way

Each love tried like song in your heart
You play on your own mix tape
Drenched in memories and meaning
That you wouldn't ever forsake

Even if the song is heavy or twisted
It taught you something new
What you can tolerate and what you can't
What really matters to you

So embrace the pain, human nature is clever
And this is what helps you grow
We live and we learn and keep keeping on
And we always fall again, you know?

    Lovely rhyming piece about the practicing of love. Liked very much the comparisons to mixed tapes because music seems to be glued to romance in one way or another. I think no matter how many times you fall in and out of live you always find someone new to fall in and out of love with. Until that is you finally find your soulmate, then you fall in love and never fall out again.

      Thanks Milly :-) Yes it's all about the music ... there are so many songs that make me go 'oh this song reminds me of so and so' when it comes on the radio ... even my son knows the song I had my first slow dance to because I always say when it's played! Music and love ... always entwined x
