A piece of history

Promises-

developed Into a picture
of colourful love
like that of a vivid image
evolving from a
negative photograph.

Both a process
of chemistry

or maybe more
a contrast, to
that of a jigsaw;
where we slowly
pieced together our
portraiture of happiness,
shaping our dreams;
bonding hopes and trust.

Our aspirations
linking together, without
a need to force each
another into; to fit.

But.

the irony with a jigsaw,
is that one segment
can become lost.

Maybe.

swept under the carpet-
sucked into a vacuum;
swirling around in the debris
of household waste!

we just could not seek
that piece.

Of consistency!

The damn piece that
would of brought you
and I here now...

..as I write.
