Silence of Spring

by Maple Tree   Apr 28, 2018

Sometimes,

Trees close their eyes
while sapplings sway,
and the moon allows
darkness to consume
our souls,

and there is nothing we can do about it;

It's simply going to happen.

    Not much point in my commenting anything other than how wonderful your imagery is, Maple. The circumstances it springs from, however, are not wonderful and for that you know how sorry I am for you. You also know I am always here to listen.
