Cocoon

by mistake   May 30, 2018

Heat, it swaddles me
Wraps my body
Surrounding

Sweat is profuse
Too much for use
It is, Crowding

My skin, I tear
As I can’t bare
The warmth, it is hounding

I fan myself
But it won’t help
Absolutely resounding

Im burning now
To stop how?
Any stop I am doubting

With pain I’m howling
My body flowering
This butterfly emerges

I am free.

Thank you. This piece in particular has brought me back here a bit more permanently I think.
