Prospect (molten hearts)

by CJ Maleney   Oct 3, 2018

Flame filled skies scorch and sear,
Metallic hearts begin to bubble and melt,
Dripping
Golden teardrops fall into the wilderness.

Optimists seek salvation in riches,
Scouring mountains and streams,
Thus
Finding only a wealth of misery.

Which is why I live by this motto: cynics never lose.

This is great, Craig, and the imagery really is top draw.

We cynics exist in the now and not in the hope of what could be.

If it does not exist! Create it. If it does not work fix it.

Never live in the hope that things will magically fall into place.

      They do not for most.

Life can and will take everything from you. It's up to you to take everything from life first.

Thank you for your insight dude made me think a little.

      Cheers dude.

The idea for this came from a piece of artwork I saw. Can't for the life of me remember where I seen it though.
