A fruitful loss (Rondeau)

by Michael   Oct 8, 2018

....as moon awaits, to greet your soul
you’ll cross a bridge where lies no troll
No more the curse from jealous eyes
your pain now free of such demise.
The fruit was taken from your bowl.

Our hearts now heal a voided hole
your rock of light now black as coal.
But love will shine in opened skies
...as moon awaits.

Such pain and anguish took its toll
from one who danced a dark cajole
They hid beneath a darkened guise
and left us all with sad goodbyes.
The stars play out a drumming roll
...as moon awaits
