My Ocean no longer returns to the shore
Words written in sand no more
Empty picture frames gather dust
Love locks and memories turn to rust
A solitary shadow walks next to me
Gone now my other three
Deafening silence all around
Gone for ever the family sound
Loneliness a familiar friend
This is where our story ends

Just noticed this little gem. Loved the rhyming and visuals. Has to go on my favourites list. Best wishes Milly x
