It took one phone call

by Dagmar Wilson   Apr 10, 2019

As we are counting the days
emotions are sparking,
it's not about rekindle the flame.
My daughter found her biological father.

This toxic relation decades ago
has woken me from my sleep,
it is real.
Him and my child will meet.

We created a child knowing
that what we did was wrong,
I was living carefree.

My daughters feelings
that void she felt
I could not understand.
She was my child.

That last and final piece to the puzzle
she found it,
it took one phone call and everything has changed.

I have two adopted children and my son's birth family have now found him.

I really really know where you are coming from with this.
