Colors

by Dagmar Wilson   Apr 12, 2019

Life represents itself in many different colors
darker shades are meant for me,
I love the blue sky
a yellow sun,
white daisies growing on a big piece of land.
Black has kept me somewhat safe.

Red did not attract me
orange is lame
turquoise has always caught my eye,
it reminds me of the ocean.

Green is the forest
I am in love with trees,
the color itself is giving me the creeps.

Natural colors as in brown
I have no desire,
they make you look pale.

Life has represented itself in various colors
each has its own story to tell.
