Seek The Black

When you walk into the darkness,
What exactly do you see?
Do you stare into its depths,
And see something glaring back at thee!

Do the hairs on your nape stand on end,
Do your muscles start to twitch?
Does your bladder start to loose control,
And to the earth fluids are leached.

Or is it like looking into a mirror?
That reflects all that you can do,
The horror that you can and will create,
All the skin that you can bruise.

The flesh that you could strip away,
You are becoming something else.
With each droplet of blood spilled upon the floor,
You have truly lost yourself!

Yet when you stare into the black!
When with what you do you are at ease.
Remember the eyes that are staring back.
Might just belong to me!
