I trusted you.

by Jump from Life   May 25, 2019

I trusted you.
You see, I heard today that you
just can't keep your eyes to yourself.
Now my blood is boiling,
my heart is constricting
pulling all the blood vessels away from my skin.
My hands are shaking
progressively going faster, and faster until I cannot hold anything.
You see, when you did that
it pierced through my crumbling heart.
It shattered it into a million pieces,
but you don't care do you?
Because you justified the actions to yourself.
Even though if left me broken,
cold.
With cuts down my arms and legs.
Spurting blood onto the tile floor,
with the rope around my throat.
When the breath suddenly leaves me.

I love that you got a different emotion while reading this than I intended :) it means that people can perceive it differently. Thank you though :)

Thank you :) I find writing while emotions are swirling is always best.
