Your President:

by Scott Cole   May 29, 2019

The last time I checked
The election was done,
The votes were tallied
And Mr. Trump had won.

The man for the people
That wanted some changes,
So we voted him in
To rattle a few cages.

A sharp dressed man
With windblown hair,
A get her done smile
And intimidating stare.

Who bows down to none
For he signs the bills,
And does as he pleases
Atop Capital Hill.

So either you love him
Or either you don't,
But he's still your President
Vote or no vote.

So to the victor we hail
And lift his name up,
For all he's accomplished
Wasn't by luck.

He does what he says
He says what he does,
Even though his actions
May create quite a buzz.

He wants Jesus Christ
And hands that pray,
Put back into schools
Where both should've stayed.

He's bigger than life
But backs the little man,
With tireless determination
And his first four year plan.

So let's all stay united
United as one,
And reelect President Trump
Again next year when he runs.

Yes hindsight is 2020
For those that got it wrong,
And voted for Hiliary
Knowing she didn't belong.

Gotta admit I'm not a fan of Donald but I'll admit he's taken some ballsy steps. I am however a fan of what you have done with this poem.
