despite eating through
the farmer's long grass, that day

eek I'm sorry to say that yikes the title was literal o.o I loved poor little lambs I had two growing up and the image was not a pretty one reading this poor little lamb! Short and to the point but yikes poor lamb it had a long life ahead of it but of course life and death are constant companions and we have to life somehow.

I had to read this one several times to ensure that I understood it correctly. (These tiny power poems can give quite a punch that can take you in many directions) Certainly I can imagine the lamb feeling that way. This thought can also transfer to different areas of life. For example a person can work their socks off for an ungrateful boss who would get rid of them without hesitation if it benefits him. A nice little write. Milly x
