Neverland II

by AnnaCG   Mar 1, 2020

I tried to dream of you and I,
Dancing through the starlit sky.
Second star on the right,
We keep on flying through the night.

And when you see the morning rise,
Squinting, open up your eyes.
You will find our Neverland,
With our tales written in the sand.

Some are worn and parts are gone,
But if we make it through till dawn.
We'll write new stories in the sand,
Some sad, some broken, but hand in hand.

The rest of the world will fade to past,
But Neverland will always last.
So when life is heavy and you've had your fill.

I'll be waiting by your windowsill.
