Evening Primroses

by Mr. Rious   Apr 27, 2020

Primroses,
eternal, they are.
Forlornly
walked over and tripped upon,
within the misty mountains,
they still thrive: fighters.

Short yet powerful. You take something as common as primroses, pointing out that on a daily basis they're overlooked, trampled, and generally forgotten but they still thrive despite that. There's overtures of it being applicable to humans as well, you merged the human condition & nature beautifully in this piece. I'm happy this was nominated. Best of luck with it!
