The Empty Bench

...they came every Friday
to their bench by the lake
fish and chips to share from
Andy's shop..a little snooze
in the sun afterwards before
they went home...I wish I had
taken the time to follow them

now...

after thirteen week of isolation
I don't see them anymore

and ...

I m left wondering.
