How true this is! It's sad to think that someone who may have been perceived as a non-threat in the early days was the catalyst for so many other things, and for people to be more unashamed and vocal. How he encouraged people and how I believe that can cause even more damage, especially with such a following.

Well put, Larry. Wouldn't it be nice if he just went quietly now? Unfortunately, as you point out metaphorically, the damage has been done.
