Words

Where have you lost into that sea?
Rise and gently come back to me,
It's been long since you had left
Leaving me alone and bereft.

You that played tunes in mind
That which helped me leave behind
Trail of thoughts printed on page,
Now come back from that by-gone age.

You keep my mind and heart alive
With you do my ideas thrive,
Oft it is I feel my loss
All is not what once it was.

Come renew that feeling again
Lest this talent should go in vain,
For what good it is when scarcely said,
It is, as if, the poet is dead.

    Sad, but beautiful.

Without a muse, a poet is simply a writer.

    All the best.
