Somehow I seem to only find myself
living here in the Aprils of my youth -

wrapped up between verse and friends
I never really knew as well as I claimed.

Wondering if there's any value to this
rut I've found myself in and the words

I only seem to write so effortlessly here
in this blinking, staring text box

asking me to be someone other than
my true and full whole hearted self.

    I’m really happy you’re back, it’s so good to read your words.
    And you have a really good point, I too think about my time here, including my time away. I’ve almost spent 10 years of my youth like you said, about the “friends” I forgot. Whether they really were friends! But also about what I write, how much it changed, even how I got better. I would never have gotten better if it werent for this place.
