Guilty (acrostic)

by Em   Apr 24, 2021

Guilty on all counts - George Floyd.
United we will stand one day,
I live in hope. We need not grieve a
Loved ones life because of
The hands of the law; may
You now Rest In Peace, George.

Great acrostic, Em, and damn right. You'll have to excuse my daughter's unforgivable error with the whole typo thing. I shall have to explain what is meant by 'guilty on all COUNTS' to her. (She'll kill me when she reads this)!

    Take care, Em

Absolutely. It was utterly disgusting what happened, and I'm glad George Floyd got the justice that he fully deserved - even if a little too late, perhaps. I can't believe that in this age and society that what happened actually happened in the first place. It's ridiculous and horrible.
Anyway, really clever acrostic. It's not forced anywhere, which is usually very hard to achieve in this form, although this seems effortless.
Is there a typo in the first line, though? I could be completely wrong - I usually am, lol - but did you mean ' guilty on all ACcounts' instead of 'guilty on all counts'?
Either way, excellent. George Floyd would be proud :)

Forget that, dad explained. But I did kill him
