2021 NaPoWriMo #27

by M. Rene'   Apr 28, 2021

Daisies surround the bluebells

as green swallows the whole field

in an attempt to mimic the

poloriod photo we never got

the chance to take and wine

whispers lovingly into darling

little ears sing of an old key

that reminds us of all the things

we could have done but never

actually did - never made enough

time for the real life love - just

the half-assed book kind.
