Head In A Screen

Head In A Screen
-----------------------

Everyone's head
Looking down at a screen.
This is not a great
Looking scene.

Their neck is going
To pay tomorrow.
And their lives will be
Filled with regretting sorrow.

Getting sucked into
The virtual world.
Their whole life
Is getting twirled.

As they never seeming to look
Away from the phone.
Their neck is slowly
Turning into a stone.

I never want to be
Like him or her.
Because there neck will
Never be the same as it were.

Walking on the street
There head is down.
Keeping it like that
All throughout town.

Making neck injuries
That will last forever.
Or just dont do it and
It will never happen ever.

There would be times when I'm walking down a street and everyone in sight is glued to their phones, almost zombie-like if you think about. Oh and I've heard that 'smartphone pinkies' are a real thing - some peoples pinkies are getting slightly deformed from holding their phone all the times. This poem rings true to that.
