When our paths were to cross, so long ago
Was it love at first sight, or just a daze?
Before our true feeling, started to show
Friendships forgotten, declaring our love
Moving too fast, for our feet to sink in
But dark were the clouds, appearing above
Before our love, had a chance to begin
And promises are so, easily made
Right at the start, both of us would declare
But destined to find out, all these will fade
When realising, that love was not there
