Assumption

by BOB GALLO   Dec 24, 2021

Clouds split where we touch,
Everlasting sprinkles shine.

In the moments of tenderness
time and space melt and vanish,
for they are unreal.
We assumed them
to fill up the gap
of our torn hearts.

You know, I wrote a poem about a cloud and my alias is Everlasting… and this poem… says Everlasting sprinkles shine! (I’m sprinkling shine?)

Well, Sir. I don’t know if you do it intentionally but haha this conceited self of mine just can’t stop making this piece about herself. On the other hand, when I detached from it, it’s pretty interesting specially the first two lines. They are visually appealing. The clouds splitting with a touch and seeing what possibly could be non endless sprinkles along with sunshine rays.

I am surprised you must be at least a little familiar with my works in years that i use the theme of infinity- eternity- perpetuity - everlasting and aeon a lot.

Well, yeah, I’m more familiar with infinity, eternity in your writing but not much with the word “Everlasting”. It got me curious. It’s actually Uhmm the coincidence. Not your fault. My brain processes info a bit different. Sometimes makes connections that speak to my subconscious but at times I can’t quiet decipher well if that makes any sense. A year for now or a month I might remember this moment and perhaps come back to read this piece. It might click then or I’ll just move on.

      As always thanks for sharing.

An excellant poems. Very imaginative but also very abstract and multi dimentional.

Thanks sis. This is not a popular subject you must be familiar with the intricacy of the subject of time.
