Premier Out

by CJ Maleney   Jan 28, 2022

The four walls that now surround me
Seem to keep on closing in
I am used to being alone a lot
But not used to premier inns

I've never been a homing pigeon
Because I do like room to fly
I hate being tied to one place
And I ask the question as to why

The bed is big and comfortable
The sheets are crisp and clean
But it's not my tent or sleeping bag
Nor a place I wish to be

I guess people love their fluffy pillows
That warm air system that does vent
But you can shove that right up your bum

I'd rather be in my tent.

I do like being home though
And that may make your mind fuggle
But when I am there there is a one
I really like to snuggle

I suppose I am something of a confusion
Perhaps a throw back of some sorts
But I am a moth upon a breeze

Just in love and loves to float.
