Tea Party

by Star   Feb 1, 2022

graffitied clouds
whither from a night sky,
his shadow emerges with
the orange moon.

his written words awaken
an underdressed tree spirit,
she steels the letters from
the crumbled clouds, and
plant them beneath her
roots.

he shares a cup of smooth
white tea with her, she
listens to his silent gaze,

as she waits for him
to return the moon’s
luminous phase

    Nicely penned Star :)
A nice mystical feel, with a hint of romance over tea..?
The only thing i would change is the first stanza
'his shadow emerges with the orange sun' i think its the 'with' as a suggestion maybe..

*emerging from an orange sun, comes his shadow* anyway i enjoyed this
