Minority

by Tara-Kay   Feb 26, 2023

You think you can silence us, tape our mouths with hatred and violence and bind our wrists with prejudice and fear?

You're wrong if you think we'll be held down and kept from speaking the truth, if we'll stop fighting for our right to be seen and heard.

I will never imagine a world where the bravest of us are consumed by your delusions, where it reaks of your desperation to be superior.

We'll never lay down and let you trample upon our beings, we're all worthy of living as ourselves, whoever we are.

It's only you who's afraid of the minority.

Nominated! As a person who is part of a minority, I love this so much and the voice you used through out. You did well to use powerful word play while still sending your message across.
