Hiding behind your unjust lies
as your world falls apart
haven't you ever tried not thinking with your mind
but with your emotions, with your heart

bombs are going off far away
and early death to those who cant eat
but there you sit on your undisputed throne
mourning your every defeat

bashed by bands and your country's youth
its OK as long as its not out of hand
but people are loosing patience and money
in your o-so powerful land

I'm proud to be an American
and the freedoms i have here
but instead of worrying bout kids with cancer
you worry about keeping your daughters away from beer

time is running out people are suffering
because of the battle you say must go on
but the more soldiers that die on that field
the more obvious it is your wrong

i may just be a kid
like those you ignore everyday
but fuc* you Mr.president
