Sometimes we look far too deep
Or choosing paths that are too steep
To not appreciate where we are
With life's journey made so far

At some point we'll take a fall
A time we might be feeling small
Refusing a helping hand
When something doesn't go as planned

Everyone will make mistakes
Even with a lot at stake
A turning point that we'll regret
And one which we won't forget

When you feel you can't go on
Where everything keeps going wrong
Don't judge your life when you are low
Or feel there's nowhere else to go

Just take a moment to reflect
And admit we're not perfect
It doesn't mean that we have failed
If our journey's been derailed

Instead look back from where you came
You shouldn't hold your head in shame
There's so much which you've achieved
Proving, that you can succeed

Remind yourself that you don't lack
And hoping to get back on track
To try and make this moment gold
Instead of putting life on hold
