A letter to you

This is just a simple letter telling you how I
feel.
Letting out my feelings that I know are real.

I express myself in my poems the best.
No matter if I'm happy, sad, or depressed.

I want things to get better between me and you.
These words that I'm writing are way overdue.

The thought of getting hurt is what scares me the
most.
That's why I think I'm afraid to get too close.

These feelings I have kept inside my mind.
A guy like you I'd thought I'd never find.

I really don't want to move real fast.
Just as long as we make it last.

The only thing is I don't know how you feel.
And if you think what we have is real.

Well that's the end of my note to you.
And I hope making this better is something you
want too.

P.S.

This wasn't a simple letter to write no matter
how hard I try.
But I guess it's all worth it because you're a
special guy.
