The Tree

by Robert   Sep 5, 2004

Some people live without ever knowing me,
For only in I you shall truly be free.
They work so hard to cover their awful deeds,
That eventually the lies choke them out like weeds.
One to cover up what someone might have done,
Never realizing that with me you only need to tell one.
Still on the stand they deny what they already did,
Then when caught they wine like a little kid.
I am not hard but there is consequences always ahead,
But know going through me your spirit will never be dead.
No lie has ever found a way to escape,
For in time the lies will cause you rape.
I am not the whole of all life,
But going through me will lessen you strife.
